This slideshow concludes with a neat project that has the students design a city based on cellular organelles, (Nucleus = Town Hall etc.) are provided. Instructions to this activity are provided in the PowerPoint, Students are also given a project to create a poster of cellular organelles in the shape of their assigned organelle at the start. When each new organelle is presented in the slideshow, a slide cues the student to present. This spreads presentations throughout a couple of days.
Part 3 explores Cellular Organelles and has 5 Lessons and 13 Page Work Bundle. This part begins at the nucleus and moves outward in the cell. Students learn about DNA, chromosomes, the flow of information, proteins synthesis, the endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, and more.
